It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Benard Gathogo Kang’oro of Gichecheni, Muthiga. He was son of the late Naftali Kang’oro and the late Nancy Wairimu Kang’oro, a step son to the late Loise Njeri Kang’oro, and brother of the late Humphrey Kaiguara Kang’oro. He was husband of Leah Wairimu Kang’oro, father of Violette Nyokabi Kihanya, Dorothy Ng’endo Kang’oro, the late Oscar Kang’oro and Alice Wanjiru Gathogo. He was father in law of Joseph Kihanya, Salome Njeri Kang’oro and Majahezansi Ngcobo. He was grandfather of Anna, Adrian, Alena, Jabari and Jelani. Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home on Kang’oro Road, off Muhuri Road, every evening from 4 pm. There will be a memorial service on Sunday 15th June 2025 at 3 pm, at his home. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday 17th June 2025 at 11:00 am, at his home.
