Death Announcement Mwalimu Rose Nechesa Sakwa (Dada katika Yesu) We regret to announce the passing of Mwalimu Rose Nechesa Sakwa from Abamuniafu clan, beloved wife to the late Richard Sakwa Akwabi from the Abashitsetse clan of Emung'abo Village, Lubinu, Mumias East Sub-county. Daughter to the late Leo Omwikwe and Lucia Sheswa, and daughter-in-law to the late Shadrack Akwabi and Abisagi Ongoli and sister to the late Victorina Ngati. Loving mother to the late Florence Sakwa, Awinja Sakwa (Switzerland/Austria), James Sakwa (Chairperson, Kakamega CPSB), Christine Sakwa (SCPHO-Butere), Rev. Johnstone Sakwa (Kenya Power–Kilifi), Livingstone Sakwa (Eljos), and Herman Sakwa. Mother inlaw to Elizabeth, Eunice, Peninah, Mbwana and Neudecker Cherished grandma to Shammah, Roy, Ray, Khalid, Aziz, Don, Daniel, Stacy, Lexxie, Ashton, Abisaki, Tiffany, Ruth, Winfred the late Doreen and Vivy; great-grandma to Alice,Albright, Arshavin,Nauleen,Prudence, Bibiana, Keith,Ryan, Shannel,Ruth, Azariah, Star and Sternley. Great great grandma to Zanelle. Treasured sister-in-law to Rhodah, Wameyo, Christine, Hellen, Apiyo, Wakungwi, Mumia, Weche, Makonjio & Ruth. Beloved aunty to the Mbatis Wameyos, Ofulas, Apiyos, Wakungwis,Mumias Weches, Makonjios & Shakabas. Maternal aunt to the Ngati's. Staunch Christian and long-standing faithful member of the Mothers' Union at St Paul’s ACK Lubinu Church. Burial Date: 18th July 2025 Emunga'bo Village, Lubinu - Mumias East Sub County Meetings continue at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, and Lubinu on 12th July 2025 from 6pm and 2pm respectively.
